If you run or promote a comedy night you probably know what a pain it is to build promo flyers and posters, especially if the budget won’t cover a professional designer. Inspired by yet another argument about AI posters on the Comedy Collective, I’ve built a small tool to make the job quicker. It’s called the Comedy Flyer Maker, and it’s at jfdi.pro/comedy-flyer.
You pick one of 16 designs, ranging from clean and modern to neon, chalkboard, vintage ticket and cut-paper looks. You type in the name of your night, a tagline, the date, time and venue, and the line-up. You can add photos for the acts, and you can add a booking link, with a QR code if you want one. The flyer redraws as you type, so you can see what you’re getting.
You can download it as a PNG or JPG for social media, or as a PDF for printing. There are sizes for Instagram posts and stories, Facebook, and A3, A4 and Letter paper. You can change the colours too, so it can match your night’s branding.
It runs entirely in your browser. There’s no account, nothing is uploaded, and photos and details stay on your device. It’s free.
It won’t replace a designer if you want something bespoke. But if you just need a decent-looking poster for next Friday’s show, it should take a few minutes rather than an evening. If anything is missing or doesn’t work for your night, I’d like to hear about it.
